My Engineer Ltd T/A myengineer.ie may also be referred to as myengineer.ie; my3D.ie; myPropertySurvey.ie; myPlans.ie; myArchitect.ie; myCerts.ie; myConstruction.ie; myMaps.ie; myObjection.ie; myPlanning.ie; mySelfbuild.ie; myCosting.ie; ballpark.ie; dwaynehiggins.ie or mySurvey.ie either together or separately, using either upper or lower case letters, with or without “www”, “http”, “https” or other such Internet Protocol language to specifically infer the legal company entity that is My Engineer Ltd, Sun Street, Tuam, Co. Galway, Ireland, H54 E166 which is a registered company, registered in Ireland with the Companies Registration Office number 664493 (hereinafter referred to as “The Company”). The Director of the Company is Mr. Dwayne Higgins and the Secretary is Ms. Margaret Higgins. "The Client" or "Client" is the person that procures a service from The Company

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company's terms and conditions. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us", refers to our Company. "Party", "Parties", or "Us", refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client's needs in respect of provision of the Company's stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Ireland. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
ONLINE QUOTES
We reserve the right to amend, change or withdraw an online quotation if incorrect information has been submitted on the online form, or if there have been changes to the scope of works or circumstances subsequently afterwards.
CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
We reserve the right to amend, change or withdraw our services if there is a potential conflict of interest. If we become aware of a potential conflict of interest at the outset, we will bring this to your attention and give you the option to proceed or withdraw if we determine that such a conflict may impact out ability to deliver a fair service. If we become aware of a conflict of interest when a project has commenced, we reserve the right to pause the delivery of service and give you the option to proceed or withdraw.

We employ the use of cookies. By using The Company website you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with The Company privacy policy .Most of the modern day interactive web sites use cookies to enable us to retrieve user details for each visit. Cookies are used in some areas of our site to enable the functionality of this area and ease of use for those people visiting. Some of our affiliate / advertising partners may also use cookies.

Pay Online Today quotations are valid for 1 day. Where deferred payment is chosen, or where an offline quotation is provided, it is valid for 7 days. An instruction to proceed either by payment for Pay Online Today options or other Verbal or Written confirmation is deemed to be acceptance of the quotation and the terms and conditions outlined herein and GDPR Policy, and will be construed as an engagement for the quoted professional services on the date such confirmation was received (the "engagement date"). In default of any term not being stated, the quotation is valid for 30 days. All quotations are subject to normal inflation costs, for projects that are protracted beyond 6 Months duration from the engagement date.
The service of myMaps.ie will be undertaken within the timescales indicated on the My Engineer Ltd website. A professional employee of The Company will be assigned to undertake the quoted project.
The following is to be specifically noted:
myMaps.ie do not engage in the setting-out or establishment of boundaries. We are retained to survey existing and established boundaries and prepare a map to represent same.
We only issue a sworn statutory declaration of identity based on maps that we prepare.
Land Registry Compliant Maps are prepared on the basis that the Land Registry operate a non-conclusive boundary system. Boundaries are relative only to the immediate boundaries indicated on the Land Registry Compliant Map.

The following is to be specifically noted:
We reserve the right to determine if a property is certifiable i.e. substantially within the standards and requirements of the Planning & Building Regulations.
We reserve the right it issue a ‘qualified’ opinion on compliance for works that are inaccessible (e.g. septic tanks, treatment systems, foundations, fire construction etc), or for works that are not substantially compliant with Planning or Building Regulations, in our opinion.
We reserve the right to withdraw our services, without refund, for works that are substantially non-compliant and require regularisation but there is an unwillingness to engage in regularisation.
Our certificates wording accords with the Law Society Format. There may be deviations to same in the interests of clarity and conveying the nature of the Relevant Works accurately.
Payment for services does not bind myengineer.ie to have any obligation to issue an Opinion on Compliance for any property. We reserve the right to withdraw our services in the event that the property is not certifiable in accordance with our professional opinion on same.
myEngineer.ie maintain a minimum level of professional indemnity insurance. In retaining our services and the services of myCerts.ie, we are not bound to increase the level of professional indemnity insurance for any specific project.
